Role Players Paradise

Males: You are a prince. (Either make it real or a made up land) And you went to the local Shaman(woman in some cases). He/she is upset that you have been a spoiled good for nothing all your life and put a spell on you to transform into a lion.
"You will turn human again once you've found your queen. You will recognize her in three ways. One: by her scent. She will somehow be into your den, wither it be on accident or by purpose. Two: by the way she speeks. She will begin to talk to you as if you were a human. Say your human name in fact. And finally you will find your queen by: her love of both your beast AND your human self." And are sent to a zoo in a different place (pick one!)
Females: you either work at the zoo where this exchange lion is comming or you were visiting and were somehow pushed into the lion exhibit. If you work there, you have been assigned the duties of feeding the lions. The exchange lion seems to watch you sometimes and you pet him at times talking to him. If you were pushed in, you were almost going to be eaten by the other lions when the exchange one saves your life, but doesn't allow you out of his sight much making you stay at the exhibit even threatening the zoo people when you say, 'I will be fine here _______ here will keep me safe." (blank is what you are calling the lion having no idea that's his human name.)

Rules:
1. Up to as many people you can handle. But make the genders even.
2. People DO have to play the Shaman(woman) of somewhere. I dun care who, but there must be as many Shamen as there are princes.
3. After a certain amount of princes have been taken, I am saying 'all done' with them.
4. N0 t3xt t@7k. AT ALL!
5. If there are only let's say 8 princes, then I need at least 4 working for the zoo and 4 falling into the exhibit Capiche?
6. I lurve excitement. Cuz after a while it gets boring. Make an ex from either side suddenly appear. Something.
7. Anime/realistic pictures or even just discriptions are okay witch me.
8. MUST ask my permission before becomming a prince? Why? I am God of this role play. DEAL WITH IT!
9. If my friends or if I ask you to leave, do and don't let the door hit you on your way out.
10. If you are a person working/visiting the zoo leave it blank until I say "no more princes are allowed" then ask the person playing the prince if it would be alright with them if your person could be their 'queen'. I say this because it's polite. And I don't want to force anyone that doesn't want to be with a specific person.

Bio: I had just heard of this new exchange lion had come to my zoo, and I was estatic. There's almost never anything new at my zoo, so I went to check it out. I guess I had been leaning too much foward in order to try to see him better, when this kid, who was running, pushed me in. I was scared half to death but the exchange lion who I call Matt saved me.

But then I saw beauty and the beast, you know that disney cartoon.... so I thought why not try that on Rahja since he does need to get hitched anyway. Gosh I am smart

Okay so maybe I have been acting spoiled lately but what to you expect I've never had to work for anything, you just give it to me when I want it, so when I say I want something now I get it. But my Shawoman Tiana has turned me into a lion? Seriously what's that about!

Visitor of the Diayne Zoo
When I heard about the new lion at the Zoo I was curious to see it, because next to panda's lions are my favorite animals. I was just looking when I tripped and fell in. Damn my clumzyness! But luckily the new lion who I have named Rahja saved me.

so shall we start?

Totally. We will start at when the guys are transformed THEN sent to the zoo.

Tiana sighs and shakes her head. That spoiled brat was coming here for the EIGHTH time this evening. Bloody hell! What did he want this time?! She was about to crack. But then she had a sense to where his queen was. She closed her eyes the tea cup in her hands untouched as she concentraited. Hmmmm.....this gives me an idea as to get him hitched and teaching him a lesson. I love myself sometimes.

Rahja walked down the path to his shaman. He wouldn't have bothered him but he wanted advice as how to best sooth the fighting families that were starting to get irritating.

Kay

Matthew, walked towards where his Shawoman resided. He had no idea what he wanted from her this time, maybe it was the attention. He never really got much of that. So negative words from Tiana were good enough for him. He knocked on the door.

Demitri, sat in a small room in his small home. He was watching Beauty and The Beast, he was at the end part where Belle kisses the Beast and he turns into a prince, Demitri was tearing up. Then he sensed Rahja. Instantly he was annoyed, that spoiled jerk had been bugging him all day. Demitri wanted some alone time! Then he looked at the movie, Turn him into a beast and he will learn his lesson! Demitri grinned, I've known where his queen is for months now so I can send him to where she is too so killing two birds with one stone, this will be easy cheesey!

Tiana smiles and takes a sip of her tea. "Come in Matty." Matthew seriously disliked her calling him that, but it amused her to. She had to have some sort of amusement. Otherwise she would be as mad as people thought her to be. She leaned back in the chair a mischievious glint in her eyes. "What is it this time?" She asked still smiling. She rarely smiled and when she did it was because she was plotting something or crazy. People always assumed the second.

Rahja bit his lip. He had the feeling something was going to happen, but couldn't decide what. "I apologize for coming again." He said. Sometimes when he apologized he was sincere. This was one of those times.

"If you're sorry for coming then why did you come?" Demitri asked Rahja. Demitri was pouting a bit, he was very childish. Strange how someone so immature could be so powerful, and wise. Demitri walked up to Rahja. Demitri was short and scrawny but he acted as if he was physically stronger than Rahja. "You know I like some me time!" Demitri said looking up at Rahja. To someone who didn't know it may look like a little boy picking a fight with his older brother. "I work all day for your family, and you constantly come to bother me with stupid questions! I rarely get time to myself anymore but yet you still bug me when I'm searching for your bride! Something that you should be doing yourself," Demitri ranted,

Matthew stepped in his face was red, it turned red every time she called him Matty. Matthew didn't really know what he wanted so he made something up on the spot and the first thing that came to mind was being called Matty "I demand," He said trying to sound like a mature prince rather than a bratty child, "That you stop calling me Matty!" He said

"You are right, I just don't think she's here." Rahja said with a careless shrug. It was well known he had no plans to marry anytime soon, enjoying the single life a bit too much. "So, if you would enjoy some alone time, I will leave." And think on what will make those two quit fighting. He added in his thoughts.

Tiana raised an eyebrow. The mischevious glint still in her eyes. "Though you may be prince you should watch what you say." She said. It was well known that since she had the past shamen and women memories, she also had their powers too. She didn't take orders. "And to prove my point..." She said and stood up. She walked over and touched his head. She chanted in a sing-song voice in a different language. Soon she wasn't touching skin but fur. "Well, hello Simba. I bet your wondering what I did, not that you can talk or anything. Although you make a lousy human, I quite like your lion. Listen, and listen well. You can't turn back into a human until you have met with your queen. You will recognize her in three ways. One: she will somehow come to you. Be it an accident or on purpose, and when she does, her scent will mark her as yours. Two: she will know your human name. She will begin to talk to you as if you were human. And three: when you can get her to say 'I love you' in your beastly and in your humane form. However, because I like you Matty, I have made sure you have unlimited time to do the last task."

Matthew looked at him self, he lifted a paw. He looked very confused, when Taina said Matty he let out a growled,it sounded like the little one Simba makes in The Lion King. Although he was mad he listened to what she said. Matthew was not to happy with what had just happened but he did listen to what Tiana said, every word imbeded in his mind for the moment. Matthew looked at her and thought, What a stupid way, so do things. People don't fall in love with animals, that's silly. Plus she is my subject am I not allowed to order subjects around?

Demitri smiled his and tiny face lit up. "Oh I appreciate that but it's too late!" He said waving a finger in the air in a tisk tisk sort of way. "You've bothered me to much, and I know that you don't want to get married. You haven't even bothered to look. That's bad, someone else could steal your bride away then you would be alone forever and ever. But since I am so nice and so kind I will send you to her, and maybe she will love you and make you not such a jerk." Demitri tuned around trying to cover up his happiness. "But there is one catch you know..." Demitri took a few things out of jars and squished them together in his hands. They turned in to a dust,"Bippity Boppity Boo!" He said and threw the dust at Rahja. Then he clapped three times and smiled... then frowned "You look kind of like Scar." He said sound disapionted. "Oh well we can't all be good lions like Simba." Demitri cleared his throught. "Now I'm going to tell you how you will know your bride kay?" Demitri paused. "One: she will somehow come to you. Be it an accident or on purpose, and when she does, her scent will mark her as yours. Two: she will know your human name. She will begin to talk to you as if you were human. And three: when you can get her to say 'I love you' in your lion and in your human form. Since you probably aren't as much of a jerk as I think you are I wil give you a  lot of time to do the last one."

Tiana put fingers in her mouth and whistled sharply. Five men with a box came in. "Now, how to get you in there?" She mutters and threw a fish in the box.
Rahja looked at him like he was crazy. And Scar from what now? He had a feeling he should be insulted and when hetired talking it only came out in an aggravated growl. He looks down to see fur and paws in place of skin and legs. What in the hell?! Oooohh, I'm SO ganna get him executed! He thought enraged.

Matthew looked at the fish and then at Tiana.  He let out a sigh, and sat down, looking at her. He wasn't going in there.

Demitri smiled, then he clapped his hands and three men appeared. They shoved, Rahja into a box. Before the closed it Demitri looked at Rahja with his big yellow eyes. "You'll thank me later." He said happily

Tiana sighed and he was lived off the ground and into the box the lid going over and shutting tightly. "Hope your quest goes fantastically. And when you come back, you'll be happy I did this. Send him to Diayne." She commanded the men.
Rahja growls as if to say, 'yeah right.' I WILL get back at you when I get back. Lousy shaman!

Demitri closed the lid tightly, "Kay you guys know where to take him!" Demitri said and sat down on his couch

Matt sat in the box sadly, he didn't want to leave home, or have to get married. He would have get back at Tiana he got back.

Tiana watched as the men took Matty to wherever it was he was going. She forgot already.

Alexis sat on the couch watching a movie when her phone rang. "Yeah?"
"We got a new lion coming to the zoo in a few days!" Her best friend Sarafina said excitedly.
"Shut up! We never get anything new."
"You're telling me. They say he came from some kingdom."
"A royal lion? You've been watching Lion King too many times."
"So? You love Beauty and the Beast but you don't hear me making fun of you." Sara defended.

Rahja sat in the box. He figured that it wouldn't break no matter how many times he clawed at it so became patient.

Matt lied there in the box wondering what might happen next, and why that fish suddenly smelled good.

Iris leaned on her locker and looked over at her friends. They had all been caring less about her since they'd gotten on the chearleading team. Now they all had football player boyfriends and parties and not enough time for Iris. She looked at the brochure for the zoo they'd spent so much time at before. A new lion was going to be there, Iris was excited but her friends could care less. She was going alone to see the mysterious lion from a far away kingdom, it was kind of sad thinking about it, even though she had been so excited about it earlyer that morning. But now looking at them she'd realized that they would probably say getting excited over an animal at the zoo was childish.
 Iris walked over to them the brochure was in her hand. Her friend smiled at her, and thier boyfriends gave her those I'm only smiling because she is smiles.
"Hi" Iris said
"Hey Iris guess what we have some great news!" Her friend Evelyn squealed.
"You can't tell her now!" Her friend Rachel said covering Evelyn's mouth
"Why not?" Sarah asked
"Because it should be more private, girls only kind of thing!" Angel said
Iris ignored what they were saying because it was probably about boys and something good that was happening to them that didn't involve Iris "Want to go to the zoo in a couple days they're getting a new lion." Iris said holding up the brochure.
"That's perfect!" Rachel said

Rahja sighs closin his eyes. I will be normal again. He vowed. His thoughts were his only company inside the box on a ship. He recognized the scent of the ocean quite easily.

"So your coming with mr when the lion comes right Sara?"
"Totally."
"Hoe long is it going to take for it to get here?"
"Three more days. It's on a ship after all."
"Okay, I can be that patient. Thanks for calling me Sara." She said and after her friend said 'your welcome' hung up, and turned her attention back to her movie, Labrynth.

Iris smiled "It's going to be there in three days."
"Three days!" Evelyn whinned "I can't wait that long!!""
"Yes you can." Rachel said
"Why is it going to take so long to get there?" Sarah asked
"Well they transport them by boat..." Iris said looking at her feet
"Well it's better in three days because it will be a saturday, so we can do more, have some fun" Angel said
Iris was wondering if waiting three days for what they had to say was a good idea, just because what Angel said made it sound like they were going away.

Matt woke up, he didn't know how long he was asleep in that box. He could smell ocean air, and he felt woozy, he had to be on a boat. Matt tried to fall back to sleep he hated boats.

Rahja yawns. How long will I be on this boat? It's becomming boring.

Lexi fell asleep as it was night.


Skip to two more days?

Iris smiled, and went to class.

Matt finally fell back to sleep.

Rahja was finally out of that box and off that damn boat. It took long enough. He stretches getting the kinks out of his muscles. He could get used to being a feline.

Lexi was excited, first in line with Sara. "This is going to be fun."
"Its just the zoo with a new lion."
"Oh hush. I enjoy new things." Lexi said smiling.

Matt awoke in a large enclosed area. It looked like it was to be the wild, in Africa, but it was to artificial. He got up, stretched and yawned, he planned to investigate.

Iris was waiting outside the Zoo, she had gotten tickets and everything. Her friend were supposed to be there an hour ago. Iris sighed and wondered if she would be seeing the lion on her own today.

Lexi smiles as they opened the door and walked with Sara to the lion exhibit. She smiles as she looks down. "Hey, there's the new lion." She said pointing him out.
"What are ya going to name this one?" Sara asked. Alexis loved naming things. She had a name for all the lions so far.
"Hmmm...Matthew." She said smiling.

Rahja looked up as a buzzing sound went off. He growls at it uneasy.

Matthew looked around, he smelled something sweet. He looked up seeing two girls. They seemed to be looking at him.

Iris was about to go in on her own, when she saw them. Iris smiled and waved even though she was very annoyed.
Evelyn ran over to Iris "Hey!" She said happily
Rachel, Angel and Sarah took thier time getting to Iris.
"Hi" Iris said.
"So let's go inside and see that lion!" Evelyn said grabbing Iris by the wrist and trying to drag her inside.
"Yes let's" Rachel said now as she, Angel and Sarah were now close enough to hear.
They went inside and walked over to the lion exibit. They took thier time, looking at all the other animals along the way. Evelyn, Rachel, Sarah, and Angel blabed on and on about thier boyfriends and how the head chearleader was making them do this really hard cheer and how they hated her for it, and blah blah blah.
They were about ive feet away from the lion exibit now.
"So is that all you wanted to tell me?" Iris asked
Evelyn squeaked "We forgot to tell her!!"
Iris looked down at the lions. She spotted the new one.
Rachel stood next to Iris, Sarah was on her other side. Angel was on the other side of Iris with Evelyn.
"You know Parker Day right?" Rachel asked
Iris rolled her eyes. Who didn't know Parker Day?  He was the most popular guy in Iris's school, he used to be Sarah's reacuring dream.
"Ofcourse she knows him don't treat her like she's dumb!" Sarah said soundning annoyed, even though she was smiling.
Iris sighed and looked at the new lion I'll name you Rahja and you can be my friend. And you won't bother me with talking about people like Parker Day
"Anyway" Rachel said with a sigh "He's noticed you"
"Who hasn't noticed me? Just look up and here I am." Iris said annoyed. Iris was 6.4 she towered over almost everyone she met. She was five iinches taller than Parker Day. She looked like a giant next to Evelyn, who was short compaired to anyone.
"Not like that!" Angel said
"He thinks you're cute!" Evelyn said happily
"Wha!!" Iris said her face was bright red. That in her mind was not possible, for one Iris was very uncowardinated, she fell down a lot, two she did not have the preportions guys usually, liked she was flat. She didn't care though, but why he wasn't attracted to her friends who were cheerleaders and hall had something to show was beyond her.

Perhaps it was because Lexi was too excited, but she was leaning too toward and didn't hear the running footsteps till it was too late and she was pushed.
"LEXI!!!!" Sara yelled trying to grab her but was too late. Lexi landed hard on her back. "Ouch..." She whined sitting up slowly. "That hurt."
"Lexi, don't move! I'm going to get you some help." Sara yelled a d went to find help.
"Why would she do that?" She asked and looked around and knew why and froze much like a bunny sensing a preditor.

Rahja sat on a rock when this scent reached his nose. It was not only addicting but strangely soothing as well. Who did it belong to? He looked around noticing this girl (Iris) with a group of people. For some reason I don't think that those people are her 'friends' per se. He thought.

Matt saw Lexi, she was the scorce of the nice scent, and how lucky he was that she had fallen right into the exibit. Matt walked over to her, witch felt weird still, he want to walk on his hine legs only but that wasn't going to work. Matt was very close to her, he looked at her with his big blue  eyes, she was pretty. he was so close he could almost touch her but he knew it was a bad idea in this body, he was huge, and might hurt her even if he tried being gentle.

Sarah smiled "Isn't that great!"
Iris looked down at the lions and sighed. She tried to think of herself with Parker Day, "Wow Iris you're so pretty" he would say and Iris would smile looking down at him. "Can you get that can off the high shelf now sweetie?"
"Why?" Iris asked
"Why not" Rachel said
"He probably just wants me to do his english homework for him." Iris said, she was very good at english and Parker Day was in her class.
"Or maybe he thinks tall girls are sexy!"Angel said
"Yeah sure...." Iris said now wishing she'd come to the Zoo with Ann from math class who was sweet and a bit nerdy.
"Oh come on Iris you could be a model, plus he likes you so now you can..." Rachel stopped talking , everyone knew that the ending of the scentece was Be popular Something Iris cared nothing about, and something her friends used to not care about.
Iris sighed and walked around the lion exibit, not sure if her 'friends' would follow. she smiled, lions would make better friends they can't ruin a perfectly fine day with stupid news. Then Iris tripped. She landed on her stomach, she heard a scream and she knew it couldn't be hers.
"EEKK SOMEONE GET HELP!" Another voice cried.
Iris looked up, "Great" she muttered seeing as she was part of the exibit now. She stayed where she was very still,Stay alive by playing dead she thought to herself.

Lexi had watched the lion walk towards her and although her every instinct told her to run, she stayed put looking at the lions particular eye color with her own hazel eyes. "You have strange eyes, Matt." She said knowing the lion for his fur color.

Rahja saw the girl fall and land on her stumach. The other lions and lionesses were getting up seeing dinner. Although he was new in this form, he rushed over and stopped them by roaring. His tail twitched as he stood near the girl until the other lions decided to leave her alone. She's a clutz isn't she? But then again I'm still unused to my height, although I've practiced. He thought that the girl might be 6'3" or something like that. He looks at the girl his green eyes carefully making sure she had no wounds.

Matt purred. He didn't know why he did. He wanted to smiled, but when he tried it looked like he was trying to scare her, he glance around seeing some of the other lions coming closer he circled around her trying to make sure none would try to sneek up on her.

Iris sat up and looked at him, she had decided that he was safe to move near since he was the one protecting her. She recognized him as being the new lion, up close he looked even more different from the other lions, his eyes were green the average lion had honey eyes. "Thank you Rajha." Iris said, she looked at his green eyes with her pale brown eyes.

Lexi relaxed knowing that Matt would keep her safe from the other lions. She couldn't have said how she knew. She only did. "Thank you for keeping me safe." She said and hesitantly touched the back of his neck soothingly caressing her fingers in the fur.

Rahja looked at her and flicked his tail slowly across her face as if to say, 'You are welcome'.  You know my name. But what is yours? Then he thought about his shaman's curse as he startted to question how she knew his human name.

Matt relaxed, as Lexi ran her hand through his fur, it felt nice for some reason, that's when Tiana popped into his head. So this is her? he wondered, thinking he had found his bride, maybe I should have found her sooner, she is quite pretty. Matt looked at her thoughtfully.

Iris reaching out to touch Rahja's main, it looked so soft. She gentley touched his fur, petting him  like an oversized cat. Iris sighed and looked up. "I wonder if they're going to get someone to get me out of here? Or maybe they'll just keep screaming 'Iris fell in the Lion exibit'."

"I wonder what you are thinking Matthew-kun. Then I could perhaps answer you." Lexi looked up as Sara brought a zoo person. He seemed surprised that she hadn't been eaten. "Sara! Matt helped keep Nala, Scar, Anya, and Henry away. What took you so long?" She asked smiling kindly.
"Alexis, you are going to give me a heart attack."
"I know Sarafina." She said with a grin.

Rahja sat and closed his eyes in pleasure as she touched him. Iris is her name. I quite like it. If she had been at my kingdom I would have courted her as a man.

Tiana smiles secretly. "I knew he'd be thanking me." She said drinking her tea.

Matt looked at the Zoo person, he growled and beard his teeth. He was not going to let them take her away from him. He has just found her, and how was he to get her to love him if she was to leave. Mattt glanced at Alexis's friend, So her name is Alexis? That's a pretty name, thank you Miss Sarafina.

Iris sighed and smiled at Rahja. She started to braid some of his fur. "You know my little sister loves when I braid her hair," She looked up again seeing that they were gone, maybe to get some help.

Lexi looked at Matt who was growling. "I don't think Matt wants me gone Sara." She said looking at her friend with a 'secretly-I'm-enjoying-this' look on her face.
"And if we even come near you, he's hanna eat us?"
"Yes." She said seriously.
"Well I hope you don't get hurt Lexington." It was a pet name that Sara called her. She was actually the only one to get away with it too.
"Matt can keep me safe and warm. The only things I recon I'll need is food."

Rahja lay down slowly as to not disrupt her fingers in his mane his eyes watching the other lions growling if they came too close. He didn't want Iris harmed.

Matt kept his eyes on the Zoo person he did not trust that they would leave Lexi with him just like that, he had never been the type to trust easily. He moved closer to Lexi, Safe and warm, I can do that, so back Mr. Zooman! He thought, while trying to glare at the Zoo man. Facial expresions as a lion proved to be harder than as a human.

Iris continued to braid Rahja's main, in peace until she heard commotion from above. She looked up to see her so called "Friends" with a zoo keeper, but ofcourse they had to look to ind a young attractive one, not the closest, while drawing a crowd. Iris sighed as the Zooo keeper said they'd try to get her out of there as soon as they could, and she pretended not to hear her "friends" trying to comfort her from above.

"Well..." Sara said and looked at the lion. Perhaps it would be better to try and rescue her friend when it and the rest of them were asleep.
"Seriously, I should be okay. Just get me food."
Sara whispers her idea to the warden and he nods in agreement. "Alright but I will be back."
Lexi rolled her eyes. "Oy vei. She means well, but she never thinks I'm serious." She said to Matt sighing.

Rahja settled closer to Iris licking her cheek. I can chase them off easily. He thought looking at the group growling.

Matt looked at her. Don't worry I can scare them off again! And I will alwas take you seriously! Matt thought, he wished she could hear him, but maybe this was Taina trying to say he had to work hard for love. He lied down next to her, resting his large lions head on he lap.

Iris laughed at bit when he licked her cheek, "That tickles," she said. The zoo keeper came down, he had a big net. Iris sighed, he obviously wasn't think he was just trying to be a hero. A smart zoo keeper would have traqilizers not a et easily teared to shreads.

Rahja stood up and growls at the zoo keeper his body mostly sheilding Iris's. The other lions following his lead, started for the zoo keeper their expressions murderous.

Lexi grins and pets Matt's ears. "Aren't you cute?" She cooed. She had a house cat at home but this was just plain amazing. Who else could say they've been adopted by a lion?

The zoo keeper stepped back nervously. Iris stood up towering over the lions and the zoo keeper "I think I'll be safe here, all I really need is food, and could you call my dad?" Iris asked trying not to laugh at the expression on the zoo keepers face. He was happy to call her dad and get Iris some food he said, Iris wondered if he was also going to get himself a change of pants.
Cute? Well that's a start! Next level must be georgous! Matt purred as she petted his ears it felt very nice, he closed his eyes relaxing. This is nice he thought,

Rahja breathes out and sits near Iris again.

Lexi smiles. She enjoyed having this lion care for her but she knew that if Sara thought to save her she would whenthe lion was asleep and was sad because of it.

Matt opened his eyes, and looked at her She is smiling but her eyes are sad... I wonder why, I hope it isn't my fault. Matt thought worried she didn't want to be with him. He didn't want to keep her from something that would make her happier than he would.

Iris went back to braiding Rahja's main. "You know I spent my happiest day here," Iris smiled "It was when my parents were still together, they took me here, I was eight and my mom was pregnant with my sister at the time, I had so much fun running around and looking at the animals, when they were close enough to me I would name them and talk to them, usually I just asked what it was like to be an animal. It was nice because my parents weren't screaming at each other, and we had ice cream, but it wasn't sorry you heard us fighting ice cream it was just ice cream."

Lexi saw the worried look in Matt's eyes and kissed his cheek. "I'm fine. Don't worry about me. I can handle it." I hope. She added in her thoughts.

Rahja let her braid his mane and listened to her talk. He rubs his head against hers trying to convey comfort. He didn't like hearing the sorrow in her voice.

"My parents split a few months after my sister was born, I haven't seen my mother since, she sends cards on christmas an birthday's but it's like she's writing to someone she works with, that she doesn't really know. Every year she sends me a cactus and my sister a barbie, my sister hates barbies."  Iris smiled she was laughing a bit. "It's funny how you can tell a stranger your life story so easily but someone you know... it's so hard to tell them." Iris was over her parents divorce, she had been for quit some time she was just sad for her little sister who never knew thier mother.

If Matt was human he would be blushing, due to the kiss. Matt wished he was human so he could kiss her back. Matt licked her nose, but his tounge was rather large so her got her eyes and a bit of her cheek.

Lexi laughs as he licked her and closed her eyes. "That tickles!" She said. She liked it though. "I haven't told you much about me. But my name is Alexis de Silva. I am nineteen years oldand I live in a house that is five miles from here. I have a house cat named Black Moon and a dog named Mika." She said to let Matt know her.

Rahja nodded. It is easier to tell a stranger as you don't know if you'll ever see the person again. He thought wishing he could say that.

"You know you have to tell me your life story one day, Rahja." Iris smiled at him and ran her hands through his mane, letting the braid  become undone. Iris looked up, "It's calmed down up there," She looked back at  Rahja. She tried to hug him. "You're so soft," She giggled

Matt wished he could let her know who he was, I like dogs he thought, but I'm not to much of a cat person.

Demetri wandered around the Zoo until he was at the lion exibit. He looked down at Rahja and smiled He is so thanking me right now! I rule! he thought to himself a wide grin spread across his tiny face.

Rahja rubs his head against hers. I will, when I can talk. He thought and flicked his tail sensing Demetri near by.

Lexi pets Matt's ears. "If you could speak I wonder what you would say?" She asked rhetorically.

Tiana plays with a flower she had picked before she entered the zoo smiling in glee. He's happy with her. I'm glad. But I'll have to stop Alexis's friend from saving her. Now, how would I do this? She grins. "I know." She said softly to herself.

Matt let out a small howl, as if he was trying to say things to her I would say everything! He though I will tell you everything, just say 'I love you' and I will talk my head off! Matt sighed You're not a mind reader, and how can a human fall in love with an animal, he thought sadly I'll be like this forever and you will eventually leave, and go off with someone else and be happy, and I will spend the rest of my days here yearning for you...

Demitri skipped over to a man selling cotton candy, he decided he would have a nice day at the zoo, maybe he would bug Rahja later seeing as he was busy. Demitri bought so cotton candy and wandered around hoping to enjoy hisday even though he was far more interested with Rahja. Of course this was strange because whenever he was at home he wanted to be as far away with Rahja as could be.

Iris closed her eyes and leaned on Rahja, it was hard to tell if she had fallen asleep or if she was just resting.

Tiana frowns and finished with her spell to calm Lexi's friend. She heard Matty's howl and wondered at what caused it. "No ordinary human can read thoughts my dear." She said in their language smiling sadly. "But if you worry about such a mundane thing sooner or later it will become truth."

Lexi was startled to hear Matt howling like this. She soothed her hand over his fur repeatedly. "I'm sorry. I shouldn't have said that huh? I'm sorry Matt." She said sadly.

Rahja didn't mind Iris relaxing against him. He was just glad she was close. You will say 'I love you' sooner rather than later won't you? Please do. He thought thinking of hearing those words and he felt really estatic.

Matt looked at Lexi with sad eyes as if to say,'don't be sorry, it's not your fault'.

Demitri gave up on have a nice day and walked over to the lion exibit and watched Rahja, he ate cotton candy as he looked down at him. His smile was taunting.

Iris opened her eyes and looked up, then she looked at Rahja. "That little boy is smiling at you, the one with the blueish hair"

Tiana thought for a moment then decided to let Lexi hear Matt the lions thoughts but not the man. "Technically, I'm not cheating." She said and blew the petals of the flower and they landed on Lexi's head.

Lexi pet Matt's head and looked around as if she heard something. "Huh. Where is Sara with my food?" Just then Sara came in put the food on the ground smiles at her and went back out before the lions could even thinknto eat her. "Huh...thats out of character for her..."

Rahja ignored Demetri. He licks Iris's cheek again and rests his eyes.

Matt looked at where the food was, Maybe that girl has a plan.... or maybe she's taking Lexi seriously, Matt sniffed the air ...mmm that smells good just then Matt realized he hadn't eaten anything for a while, not since that fish in the crate.

Demitri kept watching Rahja, he would not give him any help in winning the girls heart. This was more of Demitri trying to annoy Rahja  as much as  possible, a taste of his own medicine... sort of.

Iris played with Rahja's mane, "Your so cute." She said softly "If you were smaller I'd take you home with me."

Lexi looks at Matt and gave him some of her food. "You must be hungry. Since you just came off the boat and all."

Tiana only gave Lexi a hint of what Matty was thinking. "See? Not cheating." She said grinning.

Rahja rubs his head against hers. I would like to come with you. But since your staying we have no need to speak of this.

Iris smiled "Ah, so soft..."

Matt ate the food but he was so confused, How did she know that? Maybe she's just a goood guesser... or maybe she's something else

As if answering a silent question Lexi said, "I just figured you weren't really fed well on the boat coming here. I would be hungry from a trip to a new place even if I ate not too long ago. My stumach is strange like that. So thinking along those lines, and seeing that your a feline, I guessed that you were hungry."

Rahja smiles and lays back down ignoring his stumach. Food will come soon. He tried to convince himself.

Matt looked at her strangely then he lied down. I wonder if these are real trees he thought looking around.

Iris felt her stomach grumble,  "I hope they didn't forget about my food, I'm hungry. Are you?" Iris asked, as if he could answer her.

Rahja nodded in agreement wondering where their food was.

Lexi rests her head against his mane enjoying the feeling of his fur under her skin.

Matt purred and flicked his tale from side to side. Have her so close felt very nice.

Iris looked up to see her little sister and her father, standing behind a gated area. She walked over to them, "Hello," She said sounding cheerful
"Thank god you're okay, we're trying to find a way to get you out of here," Her father said, He was a short round man, who didn't have much hair left on his head, he was holding a blanket, the newspaper and a bag of food.
"HELLO MR.LION!" Iris's sister yelled "CAN I HAVE MY SISTER BACK PLEASE!" She looked much like her father, but with little curls tied in to ponytales at the sides of her head, she was very cute.
Iris ruffled her sisters hair and took the things from her father "I'll be fine," She said reasuring them. They left after a bit more talk, and Iris walked back over to Rahja she put down the blanket and pulled out a little bit of food, she split it and gave half to Rahja, "You look hungry."  She said giving him the food. Then she opened up the newspaper "Huh? Rahja, you  have a namesake prince you know... He's the prince of Ziachi.... It says here he's gone missing," She said looking worried.

Rahja looked up and glared at Demitri. This is your fault isn't it? He just shakes his head and rubs his head against Iris again in thanks for her sharing and eats his share. He thinks for a minute and uses his claw to write if he could. 'It's not just luck that I have his name' he tried to write. The words were slow to make and really messy but it was readable. Why didn't I think of this sooner?

Lexi looks up and see's her mom and step dad behind the safety of the bars along with her six year old brother. "Alexis! Are you okay?" Her mom was a worry wort.
"I'm fine. Thankfully Matt saved me from the other lions."
"And that's Matt?" Her step dad asked.
"Yeah. He's new here."
"Sissy!" Her brother said happy to see her.
"Hey little man. Are you doing your homework?" She asked him.
"Uh-huh." He said smiling.
"I know Sara told us not to worry, but what if your savior gets hungry for live meat?"
"I don't think even if he had a hankering for live meat that he'd eat me mom. He's different." She said petting his head. "Yes you are." She said trust in her eyes as she looked at him.

Matt looked up at Lexi's mom, and he licked his nose. He looked at her family, then he scooched closer to Lexi. He wasn't sure if they wold try to take her or not, he didn't want them too. And he knew he couldn't hurt them, if he did Lexi might not like him.

Iris looked at the scribbling in the dirt, Iris looked it over a few times but she recognized some words. "You need to work on your writing my friend." Iris squinted at the words "Is ot juse luce hat is name," she pondered for a minute as to what that might mean. "You want a jucy name?" Iris asked "No that's not it is it... Hmmm something to  do with name..." She looked at the words again. "Is ot just... oh just! So is ot just luce hat is name," She paused and looked up at the darkening sky, "It is not just luck that I have his name," The phrase  came to her for some reason.

Demitri was still standing there even though the Zoo was now closing. He had put the phrase into Iris's head, just because this was getting a little boring for him to watch.

Rahja bumped against Iris in repremand for her comment. It wasn't easy to write with claws. He'd like to see her try. He sensed that the zoo was closing. He wondered if she would be comfortable enough to stay here.

Lexi pets Matt's head. "Dont you worry. They can't get me out without me going there of my free will. I'd rather get to know you better. After all I do love you." When that sank into her head it felt right to say that. After all no one else could say they had gotten as close and friendly as her to a lion. And she said it to the animals she befriends anyway.

Matt looked at her, She said it, that must mean I'm going to  change back any second now Matt remebered that his changing just took a second, and when he changed he didn't feel different. Maybe he was changed now... maybe not, either way he sat up and looked at Lexi with his big blue eyes.

Iris smiled, and but her hand in his mane playing with his fur. "I don't care if writings hard you still should work on it," She said smiling.

Lexi had watched amazed. "First you're a fluffy kitty the next a guy? Am I in a Disney movie?" She asked curiously then pinched herself to double check she was awake. She then touched his cheek as she was curious how that had happened.

Tiana smiles as she leans on the railing watching the two. It would possibly be as easy as that when he was a human but sensed not as much. She was curious about why that was.

Rahja sighs and agrees as he didn't wish to argue with her. So what do you suppose I do? Unless I turn human, my writing is going to suck. He thought.

Matt looked at his hands "Yay! I have apposeble thumbs again." He cried out happily, "If this was a disney movie I think I would be able to talk and I'd have a talking tea pot, or someone would sing acuna mattahtah!" He said happily moving his thumbs around.

Iris smiled "You're so cute," She said and stood up. "We should explore! You new to this place, and I've never been inside an exibit before it might be fun" Iris said happily not realizing in could be dangerous  going into the territory of the other lions.

Rahja growled at the idea. He didn't want her hurt by the other lions.

Lexi laughs at what he said. "Thats true at least. So is your name Matthew?" She asked curious.

"Yes and your name is Lexi," Matt looked around, he noticed the other lions were looking at them. "I just realized I'm not bigger than them anymore," He said pointing at the other lions, "I must looked more like a candy bar than an opponent to them now." Matt Grabbed Lexi and pulled her onto his back, he began trying to climb up then wall.

Iris looked at him with big puppy eyes, "Please Rahja I will love you forever!" She said "I will if we just go exploring this one time pleaseeeee!" She begged

Lexi hung onto him as he tried to climb the wall. "Actually that's just a nickname." She said.

Tiana shook her head and with a lift of her fingers foot and hand holds appeared as Matty climbed. "You are so reduculous sometimes." She said.

Rahja heard her words and was estatic. But he was curious if her saying that counted or not. Where he had felt his transformation into a feline he didn't feel any different from before.

"What's it short for?" He asked grabbing the hold, "These are convienent," He said refering to the holds.

Demetri laughed at bit looking at Rahja, he hadn't changed yet but by the look on his face he must've thought he did.

Iris smiled at Rahja, "That expression is a yes let's explore right....?" She looked at him and smiled She gave him a big hug, "And as promised I love you!" When she said it, it felt right he was lovable, and seemed to understand her and everything she said. Iris gave him a kiss but pulled away when her lips felt skin instead of fur. Her face turned bright red and she looked at him confused.

"I admit I like being me more." Rahja said and still watched the lions. "I don't think we should be here." He said looking at Iris with a smile.

"Alexis. And where did those come from?" She asked confused.

Tiana looked down. "Your taking forever ya know?" She asked grinning.

"Thats a nice name!" Matt said happily, he stuck his tounge out at Tiana "I like taking my own sweet time!" He said, for Matt was never one to think of good comebacks, "I think they came from Tiana."

"What happened to Rahja?" Iris asked confused. She looked at the lions, "They must think were diner... I thought Zoo lions were supposed to be tame," she whimpered

 Demitri looked down at them, he conjered up a ladder.

Rahja chuckles and goes to the ladder. "Puh-lease. Zoo lions were at one time perhaps wild. Of course they're not tamed. My name is Rahja. The lion and myself are one and the same. Why else could I have been able to write?" He asked looking down into her eyes.

Alexis grins. "Thanks. Who's that?"

Tiana smiles. "My name is Tiana. I am Matty's shawoman. Pleased to meet you Alexis de Silva." She said.

"She nice but if you get her mad she might turn you into a lion," Matt whispered, he made a face when she called him Matty.

"How does that even work?" Iris asked folling him to the ladder "Do you just turn on and off the fluffy cuteness whenever you want?" She asked

Demitri looked at them and waited for them to come up.

"It depends on if I **** my shaman off or not." Rahja joked and went to the ladder. "After you milady."

Lexi frowns at Tiana. "I don't think Matt likes that pet name." She said.

Tiana raised an eyebrow. "It keeps me slightly sane making Matt's life miserable." She said smiling but aquiescing in his name at least.

"She annoys me I annoy her back." Matt said smiling at Alexis "You know like sibling rivalry except we're not related and she scares me when she's super mad."

Iris climbed up the ladder. "Shaman?" Iris was lost here. "Can I hear this story from start to finish I'm lost here."

Demitri waited for them he was getting bored

Rahja nodded but picked her up and set her across his shoulders. "Of course you can. But I would rather not end up as lion food thank you." He said climbing up the ladder and set her down when he got to the top. "Iris, this is Demitri my shaman. The princes of every kingdom has a shaman or woman to help guide them through life. Just don't annoy him." He says with a kind smile at Demitri as if to say 'sorry about that'.

Lexi thought of that. "Oh I see."

Tiana shrugged. "And it helps me as well." She was curious as to what force would disrupt their getting together. She couldn't 'see' who it was. Which scared her a bit.

Iris looked at Demitri, "He's so short." She observed. "Wait you're a prince!" Iris said looking at him shocked

Demitri looked at her, "Leave it to you to pick a girl who's a gaint," He muttered staring up at Iris

Matt smiled at Alexis "So um... what now?" he askd Tiana

Tiana looks at him. Then speaks in their language. "You still have to make her say 'I love you' in your human form you idiot."

Lexi blinked unsure of what Tiana just said.

Rahja smiles. "She's shorter than me. And I did say as it wasn't just luck that my name as a lion was the same as my human one." He said kindly to Iris. The first was said teasingly.

"You mean I have to do that?" Matt asked in the language Alexis spoke, he thought it was rude to speak so she couldn't understand. He scratched his head "How do I even go about doing that?"

"Stupid gaints..." Demitri muttered

"Yes so do explain why it isn't just luck, I feel very out of the loop," She said

"He' prince Rahja... you know the 'missing' one there's an add in the paper." Demitri said

Tiana shrugged. "I guess more or less the same way you got her to say it to your beast form." She said in the language her future queen spoke as well.

"I have no idea what you are talking about." Alexis admitted.

Rahja smiles at Iris. "Don't I look like a prince?" He teased his green eyes sparkling with humor.

"But she said it all on her own, I didn't do anything." Matt said looking sad "So now she's never going to say it right, because according to you I'm better if I don't talk." Matt smiled at her. "It's okay it is a rather strange story... now how do I explain." He said the last part scratching his head.

"Well um  I don't know. I've never met a prince before, I always expected they'd look like Parker Day" Iris said blushing and looking down

"You didn't picka very cultered one did you?" Demitri said

"Watch your tounge. I'm still pissed that you turned me into a lion." Rajha snapped. His patience was thin around his shaman. But it was understandable. "Parker Day? I'm afraid I have no idea who that is." He said to Iris in a much nicer tone.

Lexi blinks. "How about you start from the beginning. I'll do my best in following what you say." She promised with a little smile.

Tiana nods. "It can't hurt to do that." She said and chairs appeared and she sat down. "But I would rather do it sitting." She said.

Matt sat down and gestured for Lexi to sit down. "My name is Matthew Leon, I'm the prince of Dai-Xia. I was bothering Tiana," He said nodding at Tiana, "She's my Shawwoman , so she turned me into a  lion the opnly things that would turn me back into me would be for whomever is to be my bride to tell me she loves me.. so yeah that's about it..." Matt said

"Parker Day is a guy at my school, a lot of girls think he's gorgous, and some people say he's like a prince. I don't get why though I mean yeah his parents have money and he's athletic but, I think he's annoying, I met him at a party once and all night he bothered me he kept babbing on and on about football and basket ball games. When I tried to get rid of him he kept following me. And alll these girls looked at me and they were annoyed but if they wanted him they could have him because I think he looks stupiid with his spray on tan and blonde hair. I see him buying teeth whitening strips a lot, and my friends say that he's sexy when he looks at mirrors, I don't get why he's checking his looks, I get girls doing that for makup but he's just got a big ego" Iris said all in one breath "Wow it feels good to dis him and not have anyone disagree."

Demitri made a face as if to say 'I'll turn you back'. Demitri looked at Iris "If you don't like him how come you now so much about him?" He asked

"He's all my friends talked about last year" Iris said

Rahja looked at Demitri looked back as if saying, 'I will eat you if you do'. He had been listening to Iris. "Just because you have money and are athletic, doesn't mean your a prince." He said as if agreeing with her apparently.

Alexis listened and nodded. "I see. Thanks for telling me." Then something sank in her head. "Wait...prince? Bride? Me???"

Tiana watched her new queen kind of amused by her.

"Well, yeah... kinda there are a few details but um.... maybe Tiana should explain." Matt said really not knowing how to calm Alexis or explain fully to her.

"So why are you guys here anyway?" Iris asked "Should you be shawmaning, and princing  in your kingdom?"

"Oh don't worry Rahja will explain everything to you." Demitri said ready to watch this girl freak out.

Rahja rolled his eyes and went to explain. "I had annoyed Demitri, and was turned into a lion and sent here from my kingdom. I was told that only my future bride that would either be in my habitat by purpose or accident would be able to turn me back into a human with the words, 'I love you'. And then once I turned back into a human, I would have to make her say it again." He said.

Tiana thought a way to best explain it to Lexi. "Only your words of love could have changed him from a lion to a man. And now he is one, he will do his best with making you say the words again."

Lexi listens to Tiana. And thought about it. "Oh. Okay." She said smiling. 

Matt put his hands in his pockets, usually jewelry made girls say the three special words in the movies. All Matt had was pocket lint.

Iris was blshing and she looked at her feet. "How I am gonna explain this to my dad," She said to her feet quietly.

Demitri smiled, this may prove to more difficult as a man than a lion.

Rahja thought for a moment. "I could go to your school as a foreign exchange student and introduce myself to your father if that will please you." He suggested. He knew that getting the words again would be more difficult, so planned to get to know her better.

Lexi shuffles her feet awkwardly. "What do we do now then?" She asks curiously.

"Well first, Matty needs stuff." Tiana said with a grin.

"Stuff?" Matt asked he had no idea what Tiana was talking about. Stuff to get the words out again like rose, or chocolate?

Demetri smiled "Hey that's a good idea, but you speak the language pretty well so you could just show up as the new kid that just moved into town no one would be the wiser!" Demetri smiled thinking of all the alone time he would get with Rahja at a school.

"How do you explain my escape though? Or how the new lion disapeared?" Iris said sceptically

Rahja thought about that. "You could always say that he died trying to portect you from getting out by the gate." He suggested.

Lexi raised an eyebrow. "Like money and clothes?"

Tiana grinned. "Somethings like that." She said and grabbed Matt's shirt.

"What's with you and grabbing and pushing!" Matt said

"Where's the body?" Iris asked

"You know, we could always say that Rahja helped out out because he was passing by just about to leave the zoo and the lion was asleep. After that you didn't know the lion disappeared, ties up loose ends and gets Rahja good points in with your father" Demitri offered

Rahja nodded. "That's a good idea." He said.

Tiana grins. "I like annoying you." She said honestly.

"Ofcourse it's a good idea all my idea's are good!" Demitri said punching the air "Now let's get her home," Demitri said and began to walk towards the parking lot, "And since I am so kind I brought your car Rahja"

Iris followed Demitri

Matt shot her a look then he smiled at Alexis, "So why don't we go now, your parents are probably freaking out still"

"Thanks Demitri. I appreciate that."

Alexis smiles. "Sure. But how will I explian how I got out?"

"Um.. how about when the lion fell alseep you climbed out and um then I found you and took you home?" Matt said he was never very good at making up stories.

Demetri smiled as they got out to the parking lot, then he realized he forgot where he parked. "Um.. okay now all we have to do is find the car!"

Iris sighed "You forgot where you parked." She said looking down at him

Rahja smiles. "We'll find it eventually." He said. "Especially if we use the 'panic' button." He suggested.

Alexis nods. "That will be fine for me." She said. She liked how simple that sounded.

"Okay so how do we get your  house?" Matt asked cheerfully

"What's the license plate look like, the numbers and stuff I'm good with finding those." Iris said having no idea what car she should be looking for.

"You have panic button?" Demitri asked

Rahja thought for a minute. "The liscence is: GYS-3546."
Alexis leads Matt and Tiana out of the zoo. "It's not that far from here."

Matt followed sticking close to  alexis. "So what's your family like?" Matt asked

"Found it!" Iris said looking at a liscence plate paying no attention to the car.

"Okay!" Demitri said walking over to the car

Alexis grins. "My parents may be a little weird, but they mean the best. My mom is the worry wort of the two of my parents. My brother is in first grade now. My mother is a psychariatrist, and my dad is a manager for a popular company. I have three grandmothers and two grandfathers. My third grandfather died when I was young. Six, maybe seven. I don't really remember now. My family is full of nut jobs. Encluding myself, of course. So don't be surprised if one of my family members does something weird."

Rahja scratched his head. "Demitri, I should drive right?" He asks. He didn't after all want to annoy his shaman again by doing something wrong.

Demitri puted, "Fine..."
 Iris got in on the passenger side.
"HEY! Why don't I get shot gun?" Demitri whined
"I need to give the directions, and do you really want to be sharing the merit points you get from my dad?" Iris said
"Yeah why would I want your parents to like me! I don't even like you." Demitri said
Iris looked at Rahja "He's a shawman?He doesn't even look like he's old enough to go to highschool..."

Matt grinned "They sound like fun! I was worried that they were teachers or people who might have high expectations."

"If they did what would be higher than a prince?" Alexis asked rhetorically.

Rahja laughs. "I know, but he's actually quite wise...and revengeful." He said with a smile still on his lips and opens the car door for Iris.

"I'm also a good cook!" Demitri added, he was good at making some dishes.

"Revengeful?" Iris asked getting into the car, "He looks like a cute little kid, how could such an innocent face be so revengeful?" Iris asked Demitri looked like a child to her even though he was in his twenties.

Matt grinned "They might say  'Alexis, you brought home a prince? Oh you could do better I'm sure you could get a King, of a richer and bigger kingdom. You have no need for this bum'" he said his tone playful. He knew that any average girls family would be very impressed if a prince was brought home by their daughter. "But I don't think the fact that I am a prince is to be mentioned."

Alexis laughs. "Alright. I won't mention it. Although I was thinking I might say something to my class." She said her tone just as teasing.

Rahja smiles. "He's actually in his twenties. But sometimes truthfully, even I forget that." He said shruging slightly.

Silently fuming, Demitri sat in the back seat, and out on his seat belt.

Iris smiled at Rahja, "He's cuteish none the less."

"You're still in school?" Matt asked, he was twentyone and all his education was based around being a king.

Rahja laughs slightly and gets in the car. "If you say so."

Alexis nods. "I have to do some high school classes as I hadn't paid much attention as well as go to college. It's not fun but I need it."

"What are you going to college for?" Matt asked curious as to what she was interested in.

Iris smiled and put on her seat belt.

Demtri looked out the window.

"I'm in college to find what I'm good at and what I enjoy so that I can major in it and find a job that I'll love." Alexis answered with a smile.

Rahja buckled his own seat belt and started the car. "Ready to give me directions?" He asks as he goes to the exit of the zoo.

"Yup," Iris said

Demitri sat in silence

"Oh," MAtt said "What are you talking now then?"

"I'm taking this acting class which is a lot of fun for me. And math, computers and sociology."

Rahja got to the light. "Where to from here?"

Tiana just listened to them talk her mind on other matters.

"Cool," Matt said he had never really learned more than he needed when it came to to those kinds of courses

"Left," Iris said "So, do you have any music?" Iris asked she had never been a big fan of silence.

Demitri looked out the window

Rahja turned the radio on and let's her decide what station to listen to. Or if she wanted to listen to the CD in the slot.

Alexis smiles. "Yup. It's fun which is awesome!"

Iris played with the dial. "What kind of music do you like?"

Matt smiled at her "Sounds like fun, I had some friends that were into acting they always looked like they were having a good time."

Rahja grins. "I was hoping to find that out about you. I mostly like some modern artists like Black Eyed Peas and such but I also like artists from the 90's."

Alexis smiles. "Yeah it was a little fun. So tell me about yourself. Please." She asks.

"What do you want to know?" Matt asked not sure what to say about himself

"Kay...  well I like a lot of music. Mainly I listen to Rock and alternative rock, but I do love the beatles. I'm not a big fan of hip hop pop or rap though, right now my favorite band is Yellowcar," Iris said playing with the dial on the radio still

"What is your favorite song?" Lexi asks.

Rahja smiles and listens to Iris. "That's cool." He said honestly.

"I don't like country music at all though, Turn right" Iris said

"Hmm... Play it Loud, by MxPx, what your favorite song?" Matt asked

Rahja smiles and turns right. "I think we can get along just fine, since I don't like Country music neither."

Alexis thought about it. "Depends on the day or mood I'm in. When I'm pissed I listen to Falling Away From Me by Korn and Down with the Sickness by Disturbed, when I am feeling better, I usually listen to Kiss by A Rose by Seal, but my absolute favorite songs are Sweet Child O' Mine by Guns 'N Roses and Somebody to Love by Queen." She said.

Matt smiled.

"That's good, Kay now turn right, my house is number 53." Iris said

"Got it." Rahja said, turned right and looked for house 53.

Alexis stops at her house. "We're here." She said smiling and taking out her keys in her pocket.

Matt smiled "Your house looks nice" He said happily

"Iris looked for her house to. "There it is.. I wonder why there's so many cars infront."

"I'm glad you like it." Alexis said honestly and looked around seeing some cars. "Hmm...curious..." She said and went to the door unlocking it.

"I'll park somewhere else, and we can walk the short distance." Rahja said as to be safer and did just that. "I wonder why there are so many cars here...perhaps its because of your parents?" He asks curiously.

"What's curious?" Matt asked

"I'll wait in the car." Demitri said

"Kay, " Iris smiled at him.  She walked up to the house "Well there's only one way to find out" She said pulling out her house keys

"The cars. Well, here goes nothing." Lexi said and unlocked the door and was hugged by many of her relations.
"We were so worried!" Her cousin Michelle said.
"How'd you get out of the lion exhibit?" Her other cousin Henry asked.
"One at a time!" Lexi said smiling.

Rahja agreed and waited patiently while she unlocked and opened the door.

ooc It may take me a while to reply for the next couple weeks I have some medical stuff I have to deal with

Matt stood back and let Lexi's family embrace her, it was strange that it felt nice to not be noticed for once.

Iris opened the door, and stepped inside it was very quiet for some reason, she walked quietly down the hallway and then she began to hear them. She could hear her little sister Hannah "Maybe she could kisss Mr. Lion then he will turn to a prince and they can live happily ever afer!"
"That sounds nice Hannah" A voice said sounding like that of Iris's friend Kiyo
Iris stepped into the room
There was a squeal and the Iris was being held by she didn't even know who. "Iris" Many of the voices were saying
"Air!" Iris said not sure who was squeazing her so tight she couldn't breathe.
"Iris how did you get out!" Her friend Maya said
"Are you okay," Said Kiyo
"Iris we were so worried,"  Rachel said she looked like she wanted all Iris's attention
"Did it hurt you!" Squeaked Evelyn
Angel came up and just hugged Iris as did Sarah.
"That's a lot of questions  all at once." Iris responded she seemed to be the only one who was calm. "Hannah where's dad?"
Hannah smiled "He's upstairs talking to Moma on the phone." Hannah looked at Rahja "You're pretty," She said and hugged his leg.

Rahja grinned. "What I suppose you mean would be 'handsome' yes? Or is it different here?" He asks and kneels down to look the child in the eyes. "Would you have the answer?" He asks curiously a mischivious grin on his lips.

Lexi smiles. "Hey, I'm fine seriously."
Michelle looks at Matthew. "Well hello! Did you help my cousin out of trouble?" She asked grinning gleefully.

"Yes!" Hannah said happily. She started to climb onto  Rahja "Can we keep him?" Hannah asked looking at Iris.
"Well I don't know... You know having a boy is a lot of work, you have to feed him and clean up after him and then you have to play with him." Iris said, Maya laughed.
"You also have to walk him," Maya added happily "So who is this anyway?" Maya asked Happily
"My new friend Rahja, he helped me get out of the lion exibit." Iris said
"He's my friend too!" Hannah said now playing with Rahja's hair
Kiyo smiled at him as did Maya.
"I'm going to go see my dad." Iris said and then disappeared up the stairs.
Now with Iris gone it was easy to see that her friends weren't just one big group of happy people. Kiyo and Maya seemed to be separated from the others who seemed to want to stay away from them and Rahja. One boy(Parker Day) in particular was glaring at Rahja, the rest of the boys just sat there kind of bored looking clearly they didn't want to be there, each of them had a girl close to them all of them seemed to be in awe of Rahja.

Rahja chuckles at Hannah's playing with his hair and stood up. "I apologize for intruding on the reunion. I just wanted to make sure that Iris would be alright." Rahja looks at the boy glaring at him and raised an eyebrow and a 'who the hell is this insubordinate commoner' coldness entered his eyes. "And I don't think I got your name." He said a 'and I mean to get it now' command was clearly heard to the other male.

Lexi grinned. "Yes. Tyler, Michelle, this is Matthew. He helped me out."
"I only helped a little." Tiana said grinning.
"And that's Tiana Matt's...friend." She only paused for a second.

"Step sister" Matt said just incase Tiana decided to bother him here he would have an excuse to fight with her, sibling rivalry.

Hannah toddled over to Kiyo, who smiled and picked her up. "You weren't intruding," Kiyo said.
"You saved Iris we're all very thankful," Rachel said sounding sincer.
Maya said there she seemed to be the only one that was picking up on the Parker Rahja stand off. She smiled "So we all know you name, but we haven't intoduced ourselves how rude of us, I'm Maya, and this is Kiyo. This lovely young lady is Hannah. That's Rachel and Jake, Angel and Eric, Evelyn and Anthony, Sarah and Tim and that's Parker." Maya said pointing at everyone as she said thier names

Rahja smiles at Maya. "Thank you for introducing everyone. I appreciate it."

Lexi grinned. "That's right. I forgot. How silly of me."
Michelle rolled her eyes but grinned. "Hi, nice to meet you. Come on in and meet everyone. They will be happy to see that you're okay Alexis."
"I know." She said and walked in the house.

"No problem," Maya said happily. The Iris came back into the room with her father. He looked very relived. He looked at Rahja.
"Thanks you, tahnk you so much." He said he sounded greatful yet tired.
Iris looked at the clock "It's getting late" She stated "You guys look tired. Why don't you all go home and sleep and I'll see you at school on monday."
"Tomorrow is Sunday, S-U-N-D-A-Y!" Hannah said happily spelling out the word for everyone.
Most of Iris's friends cleared out very fast saying thier goodbye's and thanking god for her being okay.
"We're still coming over to work on science right?" Maya asked Iris
"Yeah ofcourse." Iris said showing Maya and Kiyo to the door
All that remained in the room was Hannah Rahja and Parker as Iris's father had gone to the kitchen to fix Iris a snack.

Matt followed close behing Lexi not sure what to do.

Lexi smiles at Matt. "Don't be intimidated by my parents." She said and her mother hugged her.
"Alexis we were so worried!" Her mother said.
Her father came into the room. "Who's this?"
"He's Matthew. He saved me." Alexis answered hugging her mom back.

Rahja scratched his head unsure as what to say. Parker WAS short. He felt awkward standing there considering he showed a brief and rare burst of temper.

Parker didn't pay much attention to his size like a yappy dog. He was muscular thought. "I don't care if you saved her. Say away from Iris, she's mine." Parker said glaring up and Rahja. Iris walked back into the room.
"Oh you're still here. Do you need to use the phone and called for a ride Parker?" Iris asked knowing very well that Parkers Dad's porshe was parked right outside.
"No thanks." He said, his tone changed completely He walked to the door "Hey Iris are you busy tomorrow?" He asked
"Yup I have plans with my friends." Iris said
Hannah toddled over to Rahja, and whispered "Iris isn't his I had her first." She said sounding worried someone would take her sister away.

Matt  looked at Lexi's father nervously, Don't be intimidated Hew thought to himself. Matt always got nervous around fathers mothers were no problem. That's why he had learned to duck out before he had to meet a girls parents.

Rahja nodded. "I thought that to be the case. And, wouldn't Iris be a little peeved if she was thought of as a possession?" He whispers right back. He decided that he didn't particularly like Parker. He relied too much on his muscles and good looks.

Sean, Alexis' father nodded and offered his hand to shake Matthew's. "Thank you for saving my daughter."
Her mother, Victoria smiles at him. "And for escorting her home." She added.
Her little brother ran in. Lexi knelt down as to catch him in a hug and 'fell' down chuckling. "Sissy! Your home!" Daniel said gleefully.
"Yes Danny, I'm home."

Matt shook Sean's hand nervously, "I really didn't do much," Hee said looking at the ground, and that was a bit of the truth.

"Yeah Peeved Peeved!" Hannah said. Iris looked at Rahja and Hannah
"What are you two whispering about?" She asked
"Nunnah yo buisiness!" Hannah said "Can Rahja stay here forever?"
"I dunno," Iris said "You know he does have a family to, and don't you think it would be unfair to keep him from them?"
"Oh... they can live here too!" Hannah said happily
"How about he stays untill your bedtime then he goes." Iris's father said stepping back into the room
"YAY!" Hannah said
"Are you okay with that?" Iris asked

Sean smiles. "Thats probably true but I'm still greatful that you helped my daughter. Is he a student of your school?"
Lexi had no idea how to answer that one so let Matt answer for himself.

Rahja grins. "I don't mind." He said seriously.

Iris's father gave her the snack, "I have some phone calls to make." He said and left the room
Hannah clung to Rahja "Let's play a game!" She said happily
Iris smiled "What game?" She asked looking at her sister
"Um..." Hannah always wanted to play but never had any idea what she wanted to play
Iris sat down and started to eat her snack. "Go find one, maybe if you pick a good one even Dad will play."
"Kay!" Hannah ran upstairs

"Um, well not really..." Matt said "I've been planning on transfering, my family has moved here recently  and going so far for school is getting kind of hard." Matt was a bad lier but this sounded almost believable.

Demitri curled up in the back seat of the car  "I feel so forgotten," He whinned but soon after he fell asleep.

Rahja smiles. "She's a very cute kid." He complemented truthfully.

"Ah, I see."
"Are you staying at a hotel Matt?" Lexi's mother asked. "For we have an extra room for guests if you need to stay here."
Tiana smiles. "I need to get home. Unfortunally they only offered the foriegn exchange program to my brother. So I will chatch up with you soon Matty boy." She said and walked down the street.

Matt wasn't sure what do say and since Tiana ditched him, he had no guidance. "Um..." he said un able to get out more words.

Iris smiled "Yeah, she really likes you.... so are you going to enroll at my school tomorrow? I was thinking that after you got your schedual you could come over so we can see what class we have together."

Lexi put a hand on Matt'e shoulder. "I will help you with everything if you want." She said smiling.

Rahja grins. "I'm glad she does. And yes, I will do that. I look foward to having class with you. Perhaps I could ask Demitri if we should get a for rent house." He said unsure.

"You don't have to," Matt said not wanting to come off as needy

Iris smiled "It'll be fun, I know my dad won't approve of you staying here, he believes all children should be with parents or foster parents, or something like that, my friend Kyo and his aunt live in an apartment and it's nice with cheap rent."

Lexi smiles. "Just remember I offered to help." She said.

Rahja tilted his head. "Where is this apartment?" He asked curiously.

"Near the bay," Iris said "I have the address somewhere I'll give it to you before you go. It has a great view." Iris smiled
Hannah came back down she bounded into the room holding a vidoe casset box. "Let's what a movie!" She said running into the next room. Iris laughed and followed.
"Put it in!" Hannah said to Iris, who took the box, and opened it setting up for the movie.
"Kay it's in... you didn't rewind it last time did you," Iris said pressing a button on the VCR
Hannah sat on the couch. "Sit  next to me." She said to Rahja

"I will," Matt smiled at her. There was something about Lexi that made him happy, he couldn't put his finger oon it but there was something about her that he loved.

Rajah sat next to Hannah. "So this is a favorite movie of yours?" He asks curiously.

Lexi tilted her head slightly in curiousity. She saw a certain look in Matt's eyes that perhaps she had seen while he was in lion form. She patted his head out of reflex gently.

"Yes!" Hannah said happily "It's the little mermaid, it's the best movie ever."
Iris got up and sat on the other side of Rahja. She had the remote and was fast forwarding through the ads.
Hannah leaned into Rahja, "You're so comfy." She said snuggling into him more  "And you smell nice."
The movie started and Iris leaned into Rahja. "She's right," She said quietly as the movie was on.

Matt raised an eyebrow. "I don't think I know how to to that," Matt smiled, he knew she probably remembered him as a lion when she did that. It didn't mater though, he thought it was cute.

Rahja enjoyed the complement from Hannah but even more so from Iris. He had trouble paying much attention to the movie as Iris's nearness set him near falling off balance. Didn't help that she was cute.

"Didn't know how to do what?" Lexi asked having totally forgotten the conversation. She blushes and pulls her hand away from his head, the feeling of his hair imprinted in her memory.

"Respond." Matt said trying not to laugh at her, and the expression on her face.

Iris's father walked in and looked at the three. Then he walked into the kitchen.
Hannah was very focused on the movie, in some of the singing parts she knew the words and tried to sing along.
Iris just leaned into Rahja. He was very comfortable.

"Oh..." Lexi said and smiles slightly. "Sorry about that." She said. "I must have forgotten you're a guy now." She said the blush still on her cheeks but it was cute.

Rahja pulls his left hand soothingly through Iris's hair as he listened to Hannah's singing. She was good, which he'd have to tell her...after his vocal cords worked again.

The movie was nearing the end. Hannah was fighting to keep her eyes open.
Iris smiled, she was blushed a bit when Rahja touched her. She wondered if when he was a lion he wanted to blush when she played with his mane.

Matt laughed a bit. "It's okay." He smiled at her and gently patted her on the shoulder as he spoke.

Rahja saw Hannah's fight to stay awake. He leans over to Iris. "Do you think we should first let her sleep, or should you send her to bed?" He asks softly in Iris's ear. He had forgotten his left hand momentairly. He noticed Iris's blush and smiles kindly. He enjoyed the color on her cheeks. They were adorible.

Lexi smiles. "Thanks." She said glad that he didn't mind what she had done for she had a feeling, that she might do it again since she enjoyed her fingers through his hair so much.

Iris smiled "She's stubborn, let her fall asleep it's easier than a fight." Iris said quietly to Rahja. She looked at him, he had a nice smile.

"So should I now leave and let you spend some time with your family?" Matt asked not wanting to make it so her family got even less time with Lexi.

"I guess. Where will you stay?" Lexi asks though sitting on a seat her cousins coming and sitting across from her.

"Alright." Rahja said just as quietly. He would ask directions to the apartment later.

"Hmm... I don't know.. don't worry I'll figure that out soon." Matt said smiling.

Hannah finally fell asleep just as the movie ended.
Iris got up and put the movie away.
Iris's father came back into the room and picked up Hannah. "Again thank you very much." He said to Rahja before taking Hannah upstairs"Iris smiled at Rahja. "Do you want he directions?" Iris asked wondering if Rahja had changed his mind.

"Yes please. I will sign up at your school and get everything needed. I appreciate your hospitality." Rahja said to Iris. "I don't want to overstay my welcome." He said shrugging.

Lexi grins. "Well as my mom said, you're welcome to stay in the guest room."
"So Matt, where you from?" Michelle asked.

Matt nodded, He looked at Michelle, he didn't want to lie more than he had to so he decided just to tell all the truth that had nothing to do with being a prince "Dia-Xia" Matt said smiling shyly

"Okay." Iris said and grabbed a piece of paper. She wrote down the directions, her cursive was big and loopy. "Here, you won't be able to miss it. If your lucky you'll get an apartment with the balcony overlooking the lake."

Rahja shrugged. "I don't really mind where I stay." He said seriously and took the directions. "I hope to see you tomorrow. Have a nice sleep." He said kindly and went for the door.

Michelle leans on the couch closing her eyes. "Aren't they missing a prince there?" She asks slurridly falling asleep where she was.
"I heard something like that." Tyler responded in the same way Michelle did.
Lexi had known it but sensed that Matt didn't want to talk about it. "But I doubt this is the same person." She said with a straight face. And was glad when the only affirmitive she got was a grunt from Tyler as Mikki, as Michelle was known as, was asleep and soon Tyler followed suit.

Matt looked relieved. "So I guess I should get going," Matt said seeing as most of Lexi's family was tired it was bet to leave.

"You say that now," Iris said following him "But the lake at night is beautiful, all the lights reflect off it and shimmer, it must be even more breath taking when you're so close to the stars." Iris walked him all the way to the car, even though she was bare foot "You'll come by tomorrow right? We can see if we have any classes together."

"I will come by tomorrow." Rahja said and smiles at her. "Hopefully I have more than one." He said chuckling lightly.

Lexi got up and wrote some directions to a cheep appartments down a ways. "You don't have to leave though, but here." She said giving him the directions. It was only three miles away on foot. "My great aunt runs that place so tell her I sent you there to have a place to stay until you get your barings."

"Thanks," Matt said with a smile, "See you later then."

Demitri awoke and looked at Rahja and Iris for the back seat of the car.

Iris looked at Demitri then back to Rahja. "I'll see you then."

Rahja waved and got in the car. "Did you rest okay?" He asks curiously.

Lexi smiles and sighs as he leaves the car.

There was some leaves on the sidewalk all in a line as if showing Matt the way to the appartments. 'You're welcome' was written in cursive with the leaves on the grass.

Matt smiled following the leaves, How sweet of you he thought to himself

"Couldn't even leave the heat on for me? What took you so long in there?" Demitri asked ignoring Rahja's question

Iris walked back to the house as her feet were cold.

Rahja shrugged. "Iris's sister watched a movie. I couldn't just walk out when she had asked me to stay." He answered.

Lexi smiles at her cousins, shakes her head, and goes to sleep on her bed.

Matt Followed all the way to the appartments.

"Oh... big puppy eyes? It's hard to say no to those." Demitri said

"Extremely difficult when you're the one being the receiving it." Rahja said.

Lexi had a strange dream. She can't really remember much of it but she did think, That was weird.

Matt talked to the man at the front desk. He was lucky, there was one apartment free, it was cheap and pre furnished, Bonus! He took the key and went up to the apartment. Falling asleep as soon as he put his head on his pillow.

"Kay so let's go, any idea where we should stay?" Demitri asked

Rahja gave Demitri the directions to the appartments. "Would you mind reading them while I drive please?" He asked.

[time skip?]

"Fine," Demitri said

Sure ^.^ so the next morning!

Matt woke up, still in the cloths from the day before, I should get some more cloths he thought streaching then find an excuse to visit Lexi

Iris was making breakfast for Hannah, he father had gone out on buisiness. Kiyo and Maya would be over soon, but she wasn't thinking of that, she was wondering when Rahja would come to tell her what classes he had.

Lexi was a hard person to wake up in the mornings. But when she finally did, she made herself breakfast.

Rahja woke up and looks at himself. "I need to get some new clothing." He said to himself. Since he had a little time, he went to a clothing store and bought a new wardrobe. He left still wearing the new clothes, the others in a bag. He then got his schedule via phone explaining that he just moved here and thought going to the school was a good idea.

Kiyo and Maya showed up a little bit after Iris had gotten dressed. Hannah had gone up to her room to play with her toys.
"So..." Maya said
"Huh?" Iris looked up from the science notes
"That guy from last night was pretty cutee" Maya said with a giggle
"Yeah?" Iris looked confused, she liked Rahja, he was nice. But she wasn't sure if he was Mayas type
"He's taller than you" Kiyo added not looking up from his work
"You guy should date!" Maya announced yet again playing matchmaker, her favorite game. She once set Kiyo up on a blind date with one of her cousins, like most of her matches that didn't work out to well.
"If you're setting them up their relationship in bound to fail," Kiyo said with a grin
"WHAT!" Maya yelled (Fire shooting out from her eyes)
"Hey" Iris said with a laugh "Let's all just calm down here"

Matt walked to a store, and bought some new cloths. Then he went back to the appartment taking a shower and changing. After that he decided to go for a walk, later he thought I'll go to the college and sign up for some classes

Rahja took care of the other necessities before walking to Iris' after getting her classes. He knocks on the door.

Lexi then drives to school in one of her aunts had lent her. After getting caffeine in her system.

Matt went to the college office, he had decided to take some classes in buisiness, although Lexi hadn't mentioned taking any buisiness classes he thought he should take them, it was something he was interested in, and he wanted to be as honest as he could be with her. But he might avoid certain truths.

Kiyo smiled at the knock of the door. "Oh look I should answer that," Kiyo said, this was the prefect way to get away from Maya's wrath. Kiyo went into the hallway.
"You can't answer it!" Maya yelled
"Why not?" Kiyo asked
"It's probably Iris's prince she should answer." Maya said a whistful look on her face
"What!" Iris said blushing "No he's just my friend!"
"You love in denial!" Maya said
Kiyo just shook his head and went to the door. He opened in and looked up at Rahja "Hey, I suppose you want to come in." He said and looked back down the hall "You  know once Maya sees you there's no turning back, if you want you can ru away now and be saved from her bounds of energy and weird ideas."

Rahja raised an eyebrow. "Me? Run? I've been through too much to turn back now." As in turning into a lion then back again. It really was going through too much. And once he got that admission again, he'd take her home and marry her.

"Caffeine, caffeine, caffeine, I love yyyyyyyoooooouuu." Lexi sang as she walked into the college and as it wasn't her class yet, sat in an empty seat and opened her book. Her first class was Sociology.

Matt wandered around looking for his first class. Accounting. He was lost, he was never very good at finding his way without a map. He poked his head into a random classroom hoping it was his class. It wasn't but he saw Lexi "Hey," He said standing in the doorway.

Kiyo looked confused, having know idea what Rahja was talking about. "They're in the living room" Kiyo said leading the way "We're working on a science project, if you're in our class you could be in our group."
"AH HA!!!!" There was a crash, it cam from the living room, then a little moan. "I have defeated the dreaded giraffe"
When they got into the living room Iris was on the floor and Maya's foot was on her stomach. Maya was smiling trumphantly a plastic water bottle in her hand.
"Umm... did you try to kill Iris?" Kiyo asked
"I defeated the giraffe!" Maya said
"Your feet smell," Iris said her eyes were closed
"Silence, dead animals can't speak!" Maya said and then noticed Rahja, "Oh no the giraffes angry mate came to avenge her death!"
"I'm a single giraffe, and your feet still smell." Iris said, but Maya ignored here and threw empty water bottle at Rahja.

Lexi looked up and smiled at Matt. "Lost? This is a big building and easy to get lost in." She said sympathetically as she's gotten lost on more than one occasion.

Rahja rose an eyebrow at Maya's antics. "I didn't think giraffes had mates." He said quite seriously and caught the water bottle. "Am I supposed to be doing something with this?" He asked confused.
